Bocas Film Fest storms what was formerly known as Krampus Kon Film Festival and Indie Originals. Bocas Film Fest s a global movement that features the most amazing hand-picked Indie creators on Earth. Many of our friends and fans are also filmmakers, and they suggested another way to help indie artists gain the recognition they deserve. So we created the Krampus Kon Film competition to see these awesome films!!
We want to help filmmakers. Let us help you develop an audience.
Bocas Film Fest is overseen by actor and director Jake Estrada. Jake Estrada has filmed his own exploitation films such as Bocas, House on 226, and Zoomed. He is always creating other amazing works. No old-school frustrated burnouts judge our competition like many of the other older film festivals - we won’t allow it. We only select open-minded, optimistic, positive people to review films. These are the people who would actually watch your movies.
We are looking for films made with passion. We're inviting both feature and short length narrative and documentary films. We welcome newcomers and students! Judges will recognize and select films for directing, editing, acting, cinematography, script, and soundtrack. Our festival offers competitive entry fees and broad categories. Want a bigger chance of winning? Yes, you can enter in multiple categories! Our awards can help your film get the recognition it deserves.
Check out our myriad of genres and categories! Endless opportunities for you to become an “award-winning filmmaker.” Early entrance fees end soon, so enter quickly. Yes, you can enter in multiple genres and multiple categories. The more categories you enter, the greater your chances of winning. Break a leg!
Best of luck!
